Child Safety and Bling: Embellishments for Children’s Products

Child Safety and Bling: Embellishments for Children’s Products

Safety Harbor FL (July 1, 2009)– Kandi Corp introduces CraftSafe® Low Lead Crystals and Embellishments. With the introduction of the CraftSafe® line, Kandi Corp brings the highest quality and largest selection of low lead crystals to the market.

Health and Child safety are a serious issue for everyone. The Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008 (CPSIA) mandated strict limits on the maximum amount of lead in anything produced for, or used by, children under the age of 12. Effective August 14, 2009 those products can not contain more than 300ppm (parts per million) of lead. On August 14, 2010 that ceiling drops to 100ppm. Kandi's CraftSafe® crystals are Tested and Certified to have 75 ppm or lower.

Kandi’s CraftSafe® crystals have been specifically designed to offer great sparkle without the health concerns of leaded crystal. CraftSafe® crystals are fully compliant with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) regulations. The CraftSafe® line has very low amounts of lead and is safe to use on any children's products or craft projects without fear of lead contamination. The Craftsafe® line
includes crystals, rhinestuds and metallic embellishments.

Kandi's Craftsafe® embellishments have pre-glued backs and can easily by applied to any porous surface using one of Kandi’s approved HotFix Crystal Applicators. Kandi's Hotfix Crystal Applicators are widely used worldwide by manufacturers and individual consumers for everything from production line clothing embellishment to an individual stone on a birthday card. The development of Kandi's CraftSafe® crystals allows manufacturers, and the crafty consumer, to easily add bling that is CPSIA compliant to any products geared toward children.
